E315: Courage and the Warrior’s Path with Special Guest Roman Simon

E315 Introduction

Hello Basecampers, I hope you are all doing well!

Today’s episode is far-ranging one. My guest and I talk about men and masculinity, how to live more courageously, the war against those that want to keep us enslaved, and we talk about Bitcoin. Literally, if I were to build a campfire and invite you over to my house, these are the very topics that would likely emerge as we relax and let the fire enchant us. You can tell I am embracing this idea of my guest and I along with you my dear listeners, all sitting around the fire, sipping our favorite beverages, and talking about our collective future. For me, it’s my favorite thing to do. It’s almost as if God asked me to do this with the second half of my life (wink, wink).

A couple of quotes that seem relevant to today’s conversation. The first is by author Stephen Nachmanovitch (who was a guest on the show all the way back in season #2). Stephen says, “A creative life is risky business. To follow your own course, not patterned on parents, peers, or institutions, involves a delicate balance of sticking to your guns and remaining open to change.”

And the other is from the great author Kurt Vonnegut who says “I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things that you can’t see from the center.” Oh, a man after my heart.

Today I have the pleasure of sitting around the campfire with a like-minded man from the other side of the planet. I looked back and most of my guests are naturally from the States or from Canada. I have also had guests on from Australia, Thailand, and even Dubai. Today’s guest is an Armenian who lives in the country of Georgia and what a delight it was to dialogue with him. Today’s conversation is one of my favorites in recent episodes and I hope you have my guest on again to further and deepen our discussion. Enjoy the conversation.

Roman Simon Bio

My guest today is Roman Simon. Roman is a creative explorer and free-thinking businessman who loves freedom and is building an interesting men’s training, which is something we talk about today. Here is my interview with Roman Simon.

E315 Final Thoughts

I hope you enjoyed that conversation as much as I did. Maybe my favorite of the season so far. And I am looking forward to Roman’s rollout of the Warriors Path. It sounds like that will be a training and community where we can all learn something. Super cool. Thank you Basecampers and we’ll see you around the fire next week.

E216: WE THE COURAGEOUS w Special Guest Jodi O’Malley

E216 Introduction

You saw some feisty Americans during the Covid episode. What looked like a giant social engineering experiment to see how many weak-minded people would comply and turn on their neighbors had the Libertarians in the crowd forming a resistance. What did we resist? Tyranny for one. The top-down centrally-controlled Great Reset, aka the Globalist agenda.

The widespread compliance was shocking to me and I took great comfort in realizing that Seattle is more obedient to so-called authority than almost every other place in the US. That is right. The city that gave you the rebel yell of Kurt Cobain and countless other post-punk rockers has become….well, a meek, obedient, vanilla tech city, quick to comply and slow to ask any real questions. It turns out, Seattle lacks balls. Imagine my surprise.

I keep coming back to courage as a cornerstone and I believe this will define us (one way or the other) in 2024. Courage is contagious. That is one thing I have found both in myself and in the others I have worked with and witnessed over time. My guest today exemplifies and embodies this quality. And for Americans, it‘s important to remember that courage is in our DNA. Every time you think and act courageously, you harken back the spirit of our ancestors. The ones who risked their lives and livelihood to resisted tyranny and set an example for freedom-loving humans all over the world.

The Globalists have their utterly predictable playbook going. Yawn. They will use Marxist techniques masquerading as “woke” to try and divide us-transgender, race, rich/poor,victim/perpetrator. And distract, distract, disctract to keep WE THE PEOPLE from figuring out that we are reaching a tipping point in this war. It cannot be described any other way, no matter your spiritual or political or sexual orientation.

No matter what you take into this year, let us agree that each and every one of us being the most courageous and authentic version of ourselves will serve God and our precious American Republic more than anything else I can think of. Enjoy the interview but first a word from our sponsor.

E96 Everyday Heroes with Special Guest Victoria Palmer

E96 Introduction-

As a former athlete, I highly value courage. I always have. As a kid, I saw athletes as warriors who lived at the edge of what they thought they were capable of doing.

I still count Muhammad Ali as one of my favorite Americans. As a man who spoke truth to power, I know that the champ would have had some pointed words to give to those that perpetrate the official Covid-19 narrative. Can you imagine a young Ali if he were asked about Tony Fauci or Bill Gates and what he thought of their opinions? I can just see Ali laying into their hypocrisy in his inimitable style and swagger. Do you think Muhammad Ali would have lined up to get vaccinated? Ha! Yeah right.

Or how about the great George Carlin? Do you think he would have complied with the narrative and the mandates? Or eviscerated the lies and have you laughing hysterically while he did it! George would have had a field day with this and we all know it.

I still take my cues from those with courage although it looks different today. I don‘t look to athletes anymore.  Today I admire people who can stand in and express their values and their principles.  Especially when those values are courage and freedom, which is at the core of who I am as a man.

Heroic people come in all shapes and sizes. Everyday hero’s that remind us of something. That as Americans, we carry this courage and a love freedom in our DNA.  It is certainly active and alive in one part of our tribe. And is coming like a wave, an activation key that has waited for the right sequence, to further awaken WE THE PEOPLE.

My guest today, is one such everyday hero.
