E336: An Autumn Firestarter

 

E336 Introduction

Hello Basecampers, I hope you are all doing well. Today’s episode is a short format show also known as a Firestarter. Just 8 or so minutes long with  a few things to cover. I will be back next episode with a great interview with Dr. Bob Beare, someone who has been on the show on three previous episodes.

First off, I am in good health and cancer free! My recent PET scan showed no tumors so that was most excellent. I am feeling great and now I start the process of finding out what my diet and lifestyle is going to look like along with which supplements are going to best keep those rogue cells at bay.

I did a deep dive into Fenbendazole, Ivermectin, and Chlorine Dioxide the past year along with other anti-cancer and anti-parasite treatments and these will certainly be part of my ongoing protocol. And fasting and saunas really helped me detox so I will keep those as well along with colonics and few other things like Vit C IV’s. My ongoing health regiment is extensive. But I think that is how it goes, right? As much as I appreciate simplicity in as many things as possible in life, this is a condition that seems to require approaching it in a more sophisticated way.

And I appreciate all the prayers from so many of you. The faith and the prayers were, in my eyes, the most powerful thing that I did and received. The whole process has been moving and humbling.  So thank you again Basecampers.

I recently had a conversation and it revealed just how triggered the left is by DJT. I was a bit taken aback as the man I was talking to used to be a mentor of mine. Someone who I look up to and a extremely well-trained psychotherapist and facilitator of men’s work. He understands full-well the idea of projection. This is the notion that, if someone triggers us and upsets us, then there is ALWAYS some traits about that person that we possess but don’t acknowledge in ourselves. I have been over this in previous episodes. To me, owning your shadow projection is one of the most sure-fire ways to restore affinity or at least greatly diminish hatred, revulsion, disdain and a load of other negative thoughts and feeling in ourselves and, therefore, the world at large.

President Trump is holding the projected hatred, disdain, and anger and disapproval of millions of liberals. Think about that. So…this came up as  I was speaking to this man. I did not bring up President Trump, he did. I simply wanted to explore the idea of projection.

He started ranting emotionally about how horrible President Trump is. He’s a piece of shit, a deplorable, a sub-human.  A TOTAL idiot. Beyond redemption. That sort of thing. Remember, this is a highly trained therapist I am listening to.

So I asked him an obvious question. Of this massive trigger, can you own your own shadow traits that you are projecting onto our President? Remember, shadow traits are all the things we hide, repress,  or deny in ourselves. We then project these shadow traits onto people like Donald Trump.

So I invited this man to do the work and own the projection. Something he has done dozens of times on dozens of men’s weekends. And you know what? He couldn’t do it. He tried to put lipstick on a pig by saying that he can own that he can  be arrogant or that he wants to do what he wants to do or that he wouldn’t mind being rich but do you know what? He didn’t really do the work. You know how I know this? As soon as he stated it, he went right back to being pissed off, saying that Trump is a despicable sub-human and then started calling ME names. No shit.

I shared with him that, when I was a liberal, I had a deep hatred of Dick Cheney. Just like the left does now with President Trump.  I had loathing in my heart for this man. And I shared that I did a Shadow Projection exercise in my book about Cheney. Saying that I was projecting my arrogance and righteousness and rigidness and a few other traits onto Dick Cheney. They were things I DID NOT want to acknowledge in myself. And after I owned all these traits as my own shadow, it humanized Cheney for me. I didn’t have this deep-seated hatred for the man any longer. I still didn’t love the guy but at least the site of him did not cause a reflexive negative emotion in me. Cheney no longer triggered me because of the work. In other words, I freed myself from Dick Cheney.

President Trump has the left fully hooked and triggered, as evidence by this man I know. And it left me with a deep empathy for the left. If an extremely awake and well-trained psychotherapist can’t REALLY own his shadow and goes right back to being triggered. IF the exercise does not free oneself from Donald Trump, then there is no point in doing the exercise, are you following me?

The left says they can’t wait to be free of Donald Trump all the while they can’t stop talking about him and being triggered by everything he says and does. They are literally OBSESSED with the man. Do you see the conundrum for liberals. You could own the projection and be done with it. It’s not as hard as you think but you gotta be ready, truly ready to be free from him. We’ll see.

On a similar note I got invited to an upcoming meetup with the Braver Angels organization. It’s about bringing Conservatives and Liberals together to better understand one another. I will let you know how it goes. I was originally thinking it will be 50/50 but the organizer said I may be the only Conservative with a bunch of liberals. I am fine with that although if you really want to do a cool forum, get equal numbers from each side, right?

Anyway, the organizer is really sweet and I think it will be a good learning experiment for everyone there. I’ll let you know what I find out.

E32 Introduction

Today’s guest is a great example of ordinary, proud Americans with a young family, who wants to see The American Dream stay alive for his kids and future generations. This is a recurring theme with the people I know that are running for office.

I felt an instant affinity for my guest today. We have both worked long, hard hours in the hospitality business. We are both working to see a better future in our state and in our nation. AND we are both optimistic (believe it or not), about how things are unfolding.

If there is a grand spiritual war going one (and I think it is obvious there is), then are we seeing signs that America is starting to turn a corner? Could we be going through some rebirth that is messy and ugly at times with things that are hard to understand or may even look upside down from time to time? It sure seems so.

We have come along way in recent years and I know that it sometimes feels the mountain is too steep. But Americans know that nothing is handed to us and things that are important are worth fighting for.

I don’t know about you but I can feel the collective power of all the prayers that people are delivering on behalf of Lady Liberty and all who stand with her. Our faith is being tested but our faith is strong, is it not?

E31 Introduction

Hello listeners and thank you for tuning into The American Pulse. One of the big trends I am seeing in our state and in our great nation is more and more ordinary folks stepping up to run for political positions. And you hear over and over that the impetus is not ambition. In fact, quite the opposite. Most run because they care for our country and our state and have seen enough corruption and just plain bad results from the entrenched status quo that they feel compelled to do something.

This is true for my guest today. I have been on the periphery of county politics long enough to see that there are some really good people involved. Tireless Patriots who genuinely love their country and want to see us thrive. The problem is the system is beyond corrupted and incentivized to stay corrupt by the deep pocketed Globalist donor class that helped create and sustain said system.

It is a circular, self-sustaining model of graft, deception, and compromises. How do we turn the tides on this? Since we are Americans and most of us do not give up easily, we rely on our faith. In fact, it is only by the grace of God that America will emerge victorious out of the dragon clutches of the Marxists/Globalists that continue to push us in directions that are not American, to say the least.

Let’s be honest. It is easy to feel hopeless in times like these. I don’t know about you but I, for one, am NOT buying their cynicism and hopelessness. That is what they want us to feel. But I don’t want to let them have that. It’s the principle of the thing, are you following me?

There is much to say about this and I will continue to unpack this notion in upcoming episodes (both solo EP’s and with guests). Let’s keep our heads up all you good Americans.  I know it probably sounds a bit funny to some of you but I believe the cavalry is coming. Enjoy the episode.

E334: A Mystic’s Tale w Special Guest Jennie Byers

 

E334 Introduction

I think that whenever people think of me and what sorts of things I teach or am passionate about, men’s work or life purpose for men, or healthy masculinity would probably be the top note of what people would say.

And that would make sense. I mean, after all, I have a show called Basecamp for Men. I have written a book of essays for men called Body and Soul: The Essential Handbook for Men. And I have led lots of different kinds of men’s groups.

But for me, I think what I really am here to do is to point people towards the Light. Towards the Divine. Towards God. Towards the deeper mystery that we are. I look back on my life and I have always been someone who believed in the magic. The magic of myth. The magic of the stars. The magic of synchronicity. The magic of ET’s and crop circles. The magic of the Divine. And the magic that is us.

For at the heart of the mystery, for me, is a multi-dimensional “AH HA” that is awe-inspiring in its implications. I believe we are just now starting to realize what we REALLY are. The 3D reality of this earth school can no longer hold us. We are bursting at the multi-dimensional seams, are we not Basecampers? The veil is thinning. Everyone can feel it. That is why all the old success dreams in 3D earth seem so lifeless right now. Have you noticed that? The only thing that is consistently inspiring us as a tribe is the promise of transcendence.

To me, there is not one path up the mountain. I know the is an irritating thing for true, blue Christians to contemplate but there is more than one way up the mountain (so to speak).  We are being beckoned by the higher realms and who is doing the beckoning may well be different depending on your life stream and who helps you understand this higher realm as well as the road to get there.

Today is one of my favorite sort of interviews.  Sitting around the campfire with a fellow  mystic as we talk about God, ET’s, Christ, and the meaning of it all. How can I not love this sort of discussion? Make your self a good cup of tea and pull up a chair. Me and my new friend Jennie unpack it all and more in what will hopefully be the first of several interviews.
