E320: The Game of Trust with Special Guest Dr. Tess Lawrie

E320 Introduction

I love chatting with scientists who also are in touch with their inner mystic and can process information a number of ways. Or another way of saying that is that I love speaking with intuitives and mystics who can also use logic and rationality. And today’s guest is just that.

A highly respected medical doctor with over 80 peer-reviewed publications, my guest fluidly speaks about topics as far-ranging as Covid and Ivermectin, the role of the ancient wisdom book the I-Ching in giving you perspectives with more depth, and even the difficulties of losing friends (and gaining new ones) following the divisive impact that Covid had on all of us.

Before we get to our wonderful guest and the interview, I thought I would share a couple of tidbits.

The first comes from the FDA, who CNN reports will now put a “black box” warning on Covid vaccines. The black box is the most serious type of warning, which highlights major health risks and serious side effects.

Better late than never, I suppose.

And one that I just love from the book The Holographic Universe. The author says:

And that is why the beings of Light tell us again and again that the purpose of life is to learn. We are indeed on a shaman’s journey, mere children struggling to become technicians of the sacred. We are learning to deal the plasticity that is part and parcel of a universe in which mind and reality are a continuum, and in this journey one lesson stands about all others. As long as the formlessness and breathtaking freedom of the beyond remain frightening to us, we will continue to dream a hologram for ourselves that is comfortably solid and well defined. We are, as the aborigines say, just learning how to survive infinity.”

Love that little nugget and now, on to our sponsor and our guest. Enjoy the interview.

E320 Final Thoughts

I hope you enjoyed that interview as much as I did. What a wonderful and interesting woman. After our recording, we talked about doing another episode where we ask big questions and throw the I-Ching and see what emerges. We have never done anything quite like that on our show and I think it sounds really interesting. Thank you Basecampers and we‘ll see you around the fire next week.

E319: Claiming Our Sovereignty with Special Guest Terry Hodges

E319 Introduction

Today’s episode is one I have been wanting to do for a couple of years now. A follow-up to E186: Intro to Natural Law. That episode was a solo show and was my attempt to make sense of a whole slew of important topics: Natural Law, the difference between lawful and legal, the difference between the ALL CAPS foreign-owned corporate USA headquartered DC and the Constitutional Republic of We The People.

We talked about law jurisdictions and made distinctions between Common Law (law or the land) and Maritime/Admirality/Commercial Law (law of the sea) and how their was a grand deception using these jurisdictions to confuse us.

I also introduced you to the ALL CAPS strawman, your corporation of one that is owned and used as collateral by the foreign-owned US Corporation. All if this can be easily verified although you may need a strong stomach once you start uncovering it all.

I have been wanting to bring a guest on and finally found my guest today and he does an excellent job of bringing our understanding along.

I highly recommend going back and listening to E186 Intro to Natural Law if you have not done so. Hopefully, a light-bulb or two will go off and it will help prepare you for today’s discussion.

Today’s episode deserves a disclaimer. None of what we talk about here should be taken as tax OR legal advice. It is for the intellectual curious. Neither myself or my guest are tax experts or legal experts. You’re on your own Basecampers. Now a word from our sponsor and on to your excellent interview. Enjoy!

Terry Hodges Bio

My guest today is Terry Hodges. Terry hails from Corvalis OR and did his undergraduate work in physics there. He is a Vietnam veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force. Terry has been a long-time crusader against injustice perpetrated by the government (especially the unlawful IRS). Here is my interview with Terry Hodges.

 E319 Final Thoughts

I hope you enjoyed that conversation as much as I did with the great Terry Hodges. This is an ongoing inquiry for me. What is sovereignty? What is freedom? What has been deceptively hidden from us? Keep looking with an open mind, trust your discernment and trust the plan that God has laid before us.

Thank you Basecampers and we’ll see you around the fire next week.

E317: Masculinity and Healing Division w Special Guest Timothy Weineke

E317 Introduction

I have the treat today of interviewing a psychotherapist who’s focus is on men and first-responders. AND he’s got a podcast geared towards men. AND he has different political views as yours truly…..and we didn‘t scream and yell and call each other names. Gasp.

With all seriousness, we cover a wide range of topics. From the different between authenticity and vulnerability and why men are attracted to one and flat-out run from the other. We chat about shame and its often central role in the inner lives of men and how to reframe it.

My guest also brings up an interesting insight. How politics in this country (because we can’t agree on the basic facts) boils down to something similar to the Yankees vs the Red Sox. It is just about which team you are on as opposed to having genuine dialogue.

All of this is reinforced by social media and the infinite number of AI bots sending out stuff to trigger one side or the other. I think both sides are tired of the division and I don’t know about you but I miss some of my old friends. Almost everyone I know has experienced a loss of friends and family because viewpoints or values no longer aligned.

This particular healing road is still a work-in-progress. And I will continue to share insights and any and all good news that comes my way.

Today’s interview is a good one. Let’t get to it. Enjoy.

Timothy Weineke Bio

My guest today is Timothy Weineke. Timothy is a veteran and a psychotherapist and counselor whose practice specializes in helping men, veterans, and first responders gain the skills and knowledge to build connected and purposeful lives. He is also the creator and host of the American Masculinity podcast. Here is my interview with Timothy Weineke.

E317 Final Thoughts

Go have a listen to Timothy’s excellent podcast The American Masculinity podcast. He really zeroes in on the inner lives of men and how to find a healing road.

I think one of the most impactful things we talked about is how political issues that divide us (whether it is Trump or guns or climate or country vs globalism) … that the most truthful and humble thing we can express is a simple “It’s complicated”. To which I can only respond with Aho! Maybe the ONLY common ground we can start with in this journey to heal the human tribe is to acknowledge that our differences are a bit complicated.

Thank you for listening Basecampers and we’ll see you around the fire next week.

E312: Messages from the One Mind with Special Guest Richard Barrett

E312 Introduction

One of the dynamics I have commented on over the years and had many conversations about is the evolution of how we receive information from the more subtle realms. From the One Mind, as my guests calls it. I have notice in myself and in many, many of my closest friends an acceleration and confidence in how they access the Divine, how they receive messages from God, is another way of saying it.

And when I was younger, I was always drawn to the mystics and the unique individuals who seemed to so easily transmit Divine messages. And then, lo and behold, everyone around me (present company included) started to pray, meditate, contemplate, and yes, channel insights and wisdom that seem to come from a different dimension. It seems it is happening to all of us.

As if God and the Divine are asking us to collectively and individually tune into the radio frequency that is God (however each one of us conceives that). God, Goddess, the Universe, the One Mind, Christ Consciousness and on and on. The thousand names that humans use for the Godhead.

The old maps no longer are guiding us. We are in a new chapter for all of us and the trail is faint. Good thing there is a flowering higher consciousness with direct access to God that seems to be organically growing in our people (our people being all of humanity). This may end up being one of our major themes for season #8. Enjoy the interview.

Richard Barrett Bio

My guest today is Richard Barrett. Richard is a prolific author, a thought leader in the area of consciousness studies, and the founder of the Barrett Academy, a London-based organization that seeks to provide evidence-based advice on the evolution of human consciousness. Here is my interview with Richard Barrett

E312 Final Thoughts-

Hope you enjoyed that interview as much as I did. I love watching how creative individuals get important messages to the People. Super inspiring. Thank you Basecampers and we’ll see you around the fire next week

E311: Basecamp Classic with Special Guest Benjamin Seaman

E311 Introduction

Hello Basecampers, I hope you are all doing well. Well, we are in between interviews and Firestarters this week. So I dusted off a re-listen of a Basecamp Classic. And this one is truly a Classic from all the way back in Season #1.

I thought since I was talking a bit about depression and how to move through it last week, you might appreciate this deeper dive from Season one with my old friend Benjamin Seaman, who happens to be a very successful NYC psychotherapist with some great insights around this topic.

Next week we are back to an interview and I have a number of good guests coming on along with a couple of good Firestarters that I am working on.

For now, enjoy this Basecamp Classic with Ben Seaman.
