E25: We are Blessed with Special Guest Mike Oster

E25 Introduction

Hello listeners and thank you for tuning into the American Pulse. We are coming off a long sabbatical (thank you for you patience as we figure all this out) and are back at the microphone with a slightly different format and a different sort of rhythm.

We will be doing episodes once a month for 2026 with a caveat. If anyone on my team at KCGOP feels we need to get on the mic and talk to WE THE PEOPLE, then that is exactly what we will do. If these times have taught us anything, it’s the necessity to be grounded in principle yet flexible in our minds and execution. What is God asking of us right now? is, I believe, a great question for both myself and the collective.

And we will have some of the same elements in that I will write the opening piece and conduct the interviews with our esteemed guests. However, we have added something new in that our intrepid, inspiring leader KCGOP Chairwoman Jolie Lansdowne will do the final piece to bring it together but also to offer blessings and grace to WE THE PEOPLE, something that is a clear gift of hers and evident to all who have watched her lead.

I am excited for The American Pulse to be a clear signal amongst the noise and choppy waters we are certain to face in 2026. I continue to feel blessed and honored to walk this path with all of you. Before we get to our EXCELLENT guest today (I really loved speaking with this man), our conversation brought two quotes to mind that I thought were relevant for today’s episode.

The first in my Scottish theologian Ian Maclaran who said:

“Be kind. For everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”

And the other is by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes who said:

Do not lose heart, we were made for these times.”

It’s sure good to be back, you Patriots. Now a word from our sponsor and on to our interview. Enjoy.

E24: Safe Cities and Common Sense

E24 Introduction

You see a lot of angst around the deployment of federal troops to assist cities in their efforts to clean up the crime, arrest cartel leaders, and address the safety concerns we all see and feel in our mostly-liberal leaning cities.

And it’s an interesting dynamic to have all the cities Democrat leaders resist the efforts of the Trump Administration to assist cities like Seattle and Portland, for instance.

Will we see federal troops in Seattle in the near future? Most likely. They are already in Portland helping ICE with deportations. What will be the result of this? One question is this: Do you think that Donald Trump wants a strong America with safe cities for its citizens? I do. He has spoken about it many times and is (as usual) backing it up with his actions.

Or do you think that Trump wants our cities to continue to deteriorate. A visual and dramatic deterioration that has most of us (regardless of political orientation) alarmed and on edge.

My faith is in Trump and these moves being made. He has stated on numerous occasions that we have a huge drug cartel problem in our cities. The ICE arrests and the federal troops will certainly focus on this issue as a top priority.

The Democrats in power in these cities look foolish trying to beg off help. Mayor Harrell is already looking as such. My question to Mayor Harrell is this: when you look in the mirror and have an honest moment with yourself, do YOU even believe that you don’t need help with this? C‘mon man, be honest. You need help Bruce.

I loved this conversation with my guest today. We cover all sorts of things. Enjoy the interview.

E22: Be Who You Are with Special Guest Jim Rosemary

E22 Introduction

Whenever I talk to everyday Americans, like my guest today, I am reminder how Americans of all political stripes share so many common values. We all want safe, thriving communities to live and raise families in. Talk to anyone in your neighborhood and you’ll see this is true.

Yet, the mainstream media who represents the Globalist Agenda, simply will not recognize all of the common ground we share with Americans who vote differently than we do.

The more conversations I have, the more convinced I have become that, to truly unite Americans, more and more of us need to have the courage to have conversations with Americans across the political spectrum.

I would like to raise the bar on the American Pulse. My original intention was to have Democrats, Liberals, Centrists, and Conservatives on the show. But I have yet to be able to talk to a Democrat. I have only asked two but the response after looking at the show notes was no.

But I am going to renew my efforts. I don’t want to turn the Pulse into a debate forum. That is not my style. But to truly ask liberals and others on to better understand their values would be outstanding I think. As American Pulse listeners please send us any ideas for this. Who do you know who is NOT a die-hard Republican that may be game to come on the show? They will be treated with the utmost respect and never belittled or embarrassed, I promise you.

Thank you listeners and now on to this good interview.

I hope you enjoyed that conversation as much as I did. Jim is so insightful on how to unite Americans, isn’t he. Let’s all take a deep breath, step into our courage (which is an American trait btw) and go open ourselves to new people. Thank you listeners and we’ll see you next time on The American

E21: We Build This Together w Special Guest Jolie Lansdowne

E21 Introduction

For any sort of meaningful, long-lasting change to occur (and this is true for people as well as oranizations) what is generally required is vision and a sense of what is possible, action towards that vision, and patience and faith. Change is not often instantaneous.

With something as unwieldy as politics, all of this is doubly so. We cast our vision, enroll others in our inspired vision, roll up our sleeves, and then make adjustments.

All of this is akin to gardening or working out for optimal health or spending time at the dojo, honing our craft. And like spending time at the dojo, our efforts are amplified and supported by those training side-by-side with us.

Which brings us to today’s guest, another fine chat with our leader KCGOP Chairwoman Jolie Lansdowne. Enjoy the interview!

Jolie Lansdowne Bio

My guest today is Jolie Landsdowne. Jolie was elected and serves as the King County GOP Chairwoman. Jolie is a a wife and mother (who homeschooled kids for 20 years, a local business owner, and a woman who believes that engagement in local government is one of the most effective ways we can impact positive change for our next generation. Here is my interview with Jolie Landsdowne.

AP21 Final Thoughts

I hope you enjoyed that conversation as much as I did with the always inspiring and gracious KCGOP Chairwoman Jolie Lansdowne. To get connected, you can go to our great new website at www.kcgop.org and you can find your district and your LD chair, come to your next meeting, or even just donate or subscribe to our informative newsletter. Every little bit helps and it takes a village to save our village. Thank you for tuning in and we’ll see you next time on The American Pulse.

E20: The American Heartbeat w Special Guest Robyn Balcom

E20 Introduction

One of the main reasons for creating this podcast was to give voice to WE THE PEOPLE. It is important that we hear from those that love this country unabashedly, like our founding fathers and so many Americans spanning generations across time and space. Preserving a love of our country and its founding principles and passing those down to the next generations is crucial if America is going to continue to lead this great human experiment in freedom and liberty and self-governance.

Remember my dear listeners, one of the goals of the Globalists is to strangle all national pride, whether that is in this country, Europe, or elsewhere. It is difficult to put forth things like the WEF’s Great Reset when you have people ike my guest today as as part of the Resistance, to use a Star Wars term.

You can be pro-humanity and still be pro-America or pro-country. I know tons of people like this. So if you happen to listen to MSM (does anyone listen to them anymore) and they say people that love America don’t care about people from other nations or don’t care about humans that don’t have a proper immigration papers, don’t believe them. It’s simply not true.

I loved interviewing my guest today. She exemplifies so much of what is happening right now. An activated grassroots patriot doing what she can do to locally move the needle. And a woman who keeps the possibility of dialogue with those that disagree with her views. This is something we are all striving for I think. I know I am. Enjoy the interview.

Robyn Balcom Bio

My guest today is Robyn Balcom. Robyn is an American patriot, a mother and grandmother, and the Chairwoman of LD12 right here in King County. Here is my interview w Robyn Balcom.

E20 Final Thoughts

I hope you enjoyed that conversation as much as I did. I love to connect with people from all walks of life who love this country and want to see it thrive into the next epoch and are willing to roll up their sleeves to make sure its done. Super inspiring.
