E134: We Need BOTH the Masculine and Feminine Perspectives with Lisa and Tony Rezac

E134 Introduction

There are so many things unfolding right now. It can make your head spin. The Truth movement is really gathering momentum. A quickening. People are waking up all over the nation and the world. You can see abundant evidence even if you live in one of the woke enclaves like I do.

Sometimes I am not sure what I will do an episode about. Of the many topics that I cover, certainly a sort of metanarrative about how WE THE PEOPLE are doing would be near the top, wouldn’t it? How is YOUR awakening going? Feeling in the dark about what we are talking about? That is fine, you’re coming along. Pissed off at the corruption and lies in the media? Good! You should be and your awakening is in full bloom. Is your radar for truth seem to be getting sharper and more trust-worthy? Ahh, now I know things are going to get really interesting for you.

Today’s guest is a regular and she always makes good radio. She’s also been at my side for the past 27 years or so. Enjoy!

Lisa Rezac Bio

E133 Final Thoughts

We will resume our journey together on April 26th. I am really looking forward to the conversations we will be having.

E133: Our Joy is Our Strength with Special Guest Walkyria Whitlock

E133 Introduction

I have grown to love how organically my episode’s arrive. Guests can seem to come out of thin air, popping up to have a conversation with me just as I am starting to get a bit anxious about how do I make my next one.

I am excited about the direction of the show. I can see where humanity is heading. The Hero’s path is lit before us. We are resourced for this journey. I know the conversation that I want to have. I can almost sense their form in the imaginal realm. Can you sense it as well? It is whispering to us.

My guest today arrived in this synchronistic fashion. A charming young women who I now see as a fellow seeker. Our conversation reminded me about something important. That our joy and sense of innocence and wonder are part of our gifts. The Divine LOVES that through this whole spiritual war that we have been a part of, we can still laugh and play and express tremendous joy and gratitude!

It’s incredible isn’t it. Humanity is truly astounding. We show our strength in many ways- our resilience and heart, our love and commitment, our deep loyalty to one another. And our Warrior spirit. All are undeniable.

But one aspect of strength that doesn’t often get mentioned is our capacity for joy and play. This dance with the Divine. For isn’t play and joy a sure sign of our faith- in God, in the Divine plan, in one another, and our own place in this emerging story.

If we can carry all the spiritual Warriors gifts AND not give up our child-like innocence and joy, what can’t we do together?

Thank you for riding shotgun with me. I have enjoyed our conversation and your insights on this incredible journey that we have all been on together.

Walkyria Whitlock Bio

My guest today is Walkyria Whitlock. Walkeria is an author, yoga teacher, and a young woman who has followed her dreams, travelling to over 29 different countries. Her personal mission is to bring more joy to the world through the practice of gratitude. Here is my interview with Walkyria Whitlock.

E133 Final Thoughts-

I hope you enjoyed our time with Walkyria Whitlock. I love what she said about being action-oriented. That even when you are trying to figure out the direction or the next chapters of your life, be in action around things. I think this is really good advice for all sorts of people who are working through feeling stuck.

And her expression of joy being a sort of “thank you” for your life is great. I plan on using this very reminder myself as I also love to express joy and play in its many forms. E132: Healing and the Big C with Special Guest Federico Vallin

E132 Introduction

This episode is dedicated to my dear departed friend Sjon Delmore. You are missed and thought about more than you know.

As a writer and someone who has a deep interest in how we use words and language to create transformation, I am always interested when I see someone who takes metaphysical principles and applies them to an area of life that I haven’t yet seen before. The topic of cancer is one such area. With all my reading and studying in the metaphysical and spiritual traditions, I have yet to see anyone really take a unique and powerful approach to cancer.

Up until today’s conversation, I have viewed cancer as many of you probably do: as an extremely unfortunate fate that could befall any of us at anytime. And if a friend got diagnosed with a cancer (up until now), I didn’t really have any resources for them. As evidence, I watched my dear friend Sjon pass away two years ago and sat with him through chemo. I felt helpless and frustrated that I didn‘t have another option to point him to.

Cancer is in everyone’s circle, is it not? Everyone knows someone who has had or who passed away from the big C. It is the cloud that lurks behind every suspicious lump, every test that the doctor says we want to do another. It lurks behind every bioposy and colonoscopy and breast exam. There is such an air of fear around it.

What would do if you received a cancer diagnosis from your doctor? Most would say, dig in, fight, do your chemo and your radiation. Pray and hope for the best. This is mainstream medicines best option and has been the de facto approach for damn near everyone. And this approach hasn’t seemed to changed much or evolved over the years and decades, has it?

Without really being aware of it, I was always looking for a different approach. One I could point people towards as an alternative. Many people have and will find themselves with cancer in the coming years. It will be part of their Hero’s Journey. Most will take the tried-and-true path and I understand that.

Mainstream medicine does save some who have cancer. But I have long wondered why the numbers weren‘t very good. Could there be other approaches out there that we don’t know about or haven’t discovered yet? Not necessarily to replace the orthodox approach but to add to our toolbox as an option. My guest today is someone who has developed one such approach and I am excited to have a conversation with him and for you to listen in.

E130: Tony Rezac and the Hero’s Journey

E130 Introduction-

I was recently on Eric Zimmer’s excellent pod called The One You Feed. I highly recommend subscribing, if you have the bandwidth for another show. Eric is an excellent interviewer of his guests and is comfortable to hang out with, which is a necessary super-power amongst podcasters.

He was gracious enough to send me over the interview audio file so I could turn it into a Basecamp episode. Which is what I did here.

I love being in these sorts of conversations. Deep, authentic, humorous at times. I love talking to people that are willing to cut through the small talk and get down to what is really going on.

In this hour, we talk about my 2014 book Body and Soul: The Essential Handbook for Men. We also cover the challenges that men face, male archetypes and how they show up or not show up in our lives. And we talk a bit about my Life Renewal Program for Men, which I offer as an ongoing program.

Here is me on the other side of the conversation, so to speak, on The One You Feed with Eric Zimmer. I hope you enjoy it.
