E129: Restoring Our Health and Sanity with Special Guest Dr. Jeannette Daneals

E129 Introduction

I have been extremely fortunate. My whole life really. To continually have people around me who inspire me and live from their deepest purpose. In fact, it seems the only people in my inner circle these days are these mission-driven, courageous people.

When I was young, I only had one or two people who carried this torch for me. I think this is true for many of us. One person showed us some gnosis or inner truth that would be the spark for the flame we would create and honor. My inner circle has changed drastically the past two years as destiny would have it. As I grew in my awareness and inner knowing, so my constellation changed. Gone is the old Tony and his old group of friends. To be replaced by, you guessed it, a new version of myself. This is something we have talked about on many episodes. Your Hero‘s Journey molding you for the next chapters of your story and OUR story and your role in it.

I can feel the mythic dimensions of what is happening speaking to me. And I long to do episodes with myth front and center. I think you all know how much I love doing those episodes. There is just one problem. I don’t know what the mythic dimension wants from me right now! If you saw all the books around me with myth broadly as the theme, you would chuckle. I can’t yet find the next through line, but I will.

Today, I have the pleasure of doing an episode with a courageous woman that I know. A badass and hero whom I have a great deal of respect for. We talk about navigating the minefield of the MSM narrative and how we can all flex our sovereignty in the area of health, no matter what our choices have been up till now. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did.

Dr. Jeannette Daneals Bio

My guest today is naturopathic doctor Jeannette Daneals. Jeanette is a healer, teacher, and one of those people that positively impacts all of the people that come to her for insights and resources.

She says in her bio that “There are times in which, as a naturopathic physician, I am confronted by the system’s resistance. But I have hope nonetheless as I can see an awakening in the general populace for deeper, meaningful healing. It inspires me to continue to show up and do the work that I know we are all here to do and that is to grow and be the best versions of ourselves both physically and spiritually.”

Here is my interview with Dr. Jeannette Daneals.

I hope you enjoyed my conversation with Dr. D, as she is affectionately known as. To participate in her hand analysis reach out to her and let her know at drdaneals@gmail.com . I am going to be grabbing a spot for a reading as it sounds really interesting to me.

And she sent me an email in the 11th hour mentioning that we got side-tracked a bit and didn’t give the listeners specific recommendations for detox from the jab.

Here are 10 recommendations from Dr. D:

  1. Vitamin C in lyposomal form
  2. Buffered vitamin C
  3. NAC
  4. Nebulizer Hydrogen peroxide
  5. Vitamin D3
  6. Zinc
  7. Sweat!!!! Sauna etc
  8. Good sleep
  9. Hugs, dance and laugh
  10. IV Detox Supreme at the Tummy Temple (Seattle)

For those in the Seattle area, the Tummy Temple remains an oasis of health and wisdom. You can find Dr. D there helping with health, both physically and spiritually.

E125: The Authenticity of Men with Special Guest  Dr. Eric Hansen

E125 Introduction

One of the shadows of growing up as an American man is the manbox we have all been cultured in. Part of the messaging from the manbox is to be stoic and self-reliant at all costs. Never let men (or women) see you asking or seeking support. Never speak of your struggles is the message that men internalize. It seems a bit absurd now as I write this.

When I was brought into the tribe of men through a powerful initiation called the New Warrior Training with the Mankind Project, I saw something entirely different. I saw powerful, authentic men who spoke of the full spectrum of the male experience. The struggles and challenges that we all face without all the macho posturing that comes with the manbox. I also saw men that were emotionally expressive but they didn’t seem wimpy or weak. Quite the contrary. These men were emotionally truthful, comfortable in their skin, and skilled at relationships of all sorts. And I wanted some of that for myself.

The initiation and the work changed my life. I did episodes about this in the early days of the show. If you go back to that first season (particularly those first dozen episodes) or read my book, you will hear my testimony and gratitude for this work and the men who lead and participate in it.

My guest today is the man who brought me into this work. One of my early mentors. He guided me onto the path that would alter the course of my life for the better. I have been thinking a lot lately about mentoring. How do we better mentor the younger men? How do we meet them where they are and honor their gifts and their brilliant and offer the wisdom that we carry as the older generation? How do we see them with fresh eyes?

The topic of mentoring and elderhood is one we will be diving a bit more into as season four unfolds.

Eric Hansen Bio

My guest today is Eric Hansen. Eric has been a leader in the fields of economic development and men’s work.

He has travelled the world MANY times over as the President of Economic Transformations Group for the past 23 years. And he has been leader on dozens of trainings for The Mankind Project. Eric has also staffed a number of these trainings in Folsom Prison with the Inside Circle. Bringing healing and transformation to the men who reside there. Here is my interview with Eric Hansen.

E125 Final Thoughts-

I hope you enjoyed our conversation with Eric. The film we were speaking about is called The Work and it is a powerful expression of how men’s work can transform lives, no matter the circumstances.

E124: Finding Our Way with Special Guest Roy Holman

E124 Introduction

I would like to start with a quote by St. Augustine who said: “The Truth is like a lion. You don’t have to defend it. Let it loose and it will defend itself.”

We are at a most interesting time in our awakening. It seems the truth is making itself known to more and more people. And not just the libertarians and freedom-loving tribe. The center, center-left, and yes even some lefties I know are seeing things differently than even a few months ago.

People seem, dare I say, LESS DIVIDED than before? The new book by Robert Kennedy Jr. The Real Anthony Fauci has stormed up the charts. It is red-pilling the center and center-left as we speak. Do you wan to know who Tony Fauci REALLY is? Go grab a copy for yourself and see what all the buzz is about.

And people seem to be turning more to God or Christ or the Divine and this is the other aspect of the Great Awakening. Humanity is learning of our Divine partnership in unique ways with each one of us adding to the whole.

My guest and I were marveling off microphone that we have both traversed the spiritual road far and wide and arrived back at God and Christ. There has been a particular magic for me in all of this. My spiritual journey has been a constant in my life. It was always imbued with myth and teachings from the East. It is only now, well into my middle years, that I have taken a keen interest in Christ and his teachings. It seems that God and the Divine like to keep us on our toes.

With that being said, I have always felt that BFM was divinely guided. My guests and topics come to me in often synchronistic ways. And it has taught me to trust God, to trust myself as a medium and messenger, and to trust you my listener to be able to pull from the conversations the insights and tidbits that you need to accelerate YOUR awakening and Hero’s Journey.

2022 is going to have us on the edge of our seats. There is protests for medical freedom and sovereignty happening all over the place. The center and center/left are waking up. This is the stage that mystics call The Quickening.

E124 Final Thoughts

E120: Season Three Wrap-Up

E120 Introduction

Well Basecampers, we have come to the end of season three. I hope you have been finding value in the episodes. Today we have a Firestarter short format with no interview. I really enjoyed season three. I feel privileged to be able to meet all these great people and bring you something different with these conversations. And I know that sometimes you and I are not in complete agreement on something and I want to thank you for giving me space to explore and express certain ideas and themes. I hope I am giving you space as you express your concerns and viewpoints and hopes about where we are going as a tribe.

There is so much going on in the world right now. There is a lot of people waking up. I will continue to do my best to hold and present a meta and mythic viewpoint for us. I invite you to join me in creating the new narrative. It is my belief that 2022 will be an astounding year for us. Our collective awakening is quickening and events will certainly come fast and furious in the coming year. Let’s continue to help one another make better sense of it.

E119: The Road Forward with Special Guest Christian Elliot

E119 Introduction

Hello listeners. We are finishing up season three and my sound editor Chris and I will be taking a short holiday break. We have today‘s episode and then a season wrap up/preview of 2022 and what Basecamp for Men will be up to in the coming year. The break will be short. We will be back with a new episode to start off season four on Jan 11th.

This will give me a chance to catch my breath and not have a Tuesday deadline breathing down me neck each week. It was always my plan to run seasons. 40 or so episodes before taking a short hiatus. The break between season one and season two was long. Many months as we built the new platform etc etc. I never actually took a break between season two and season three. We simply announced a new season and kept on recording. This upcoming break is more what I had in mind. Just a few weeks to breathe. I am very much looking forward to season four and what we will be covering.

This weeks episode is one of my favorites of the entire season. My guest today is not only holding space for all of our views, he is helping to create the more pro-humanity narrative that we are all instinctively looking for, whether we realize it or not.

Christian Elliot Bio

Christian Elliot is a husband, father of five, and a certified personal trainer, health coach, and nutrition expert. He has a Masters of Divinity and since 2003 has logged over 15,000 hours of one-on-one coaching. Here is my interview with Christian Elliot.

E119 Final Thoughts
