E88: Conversations About Men with Special Guest

Brandon Clift

E88 Introduction

It has been interesting to me to watch the evolution of the show as we make our way along season three. When we created the tagline of the show of “Men, Myth, and the Hero’s Journey” it was made to be specific enough to give me focus but wide enough to make room for inspiration, the esoteric, and any other topics that caught my fancy.

I knew that if we continued to focus on our collective awakening, The Great Awakening, as it is now being called and giving you tools for your own Hero’s Journey, you would find value in the 30 minutes each week that you listen.

As my own spiritual journey has progressed, I have found that my radar for Truth has been fine-tuned by the Divine. I know that many of you are having your own breakthroughs as well. Whether that comes in the form of deepening your spiritual work, taking better care of yourself, or challenging the oftentimes surreal narrative of the MSM, I hope that you are finding that, in the final analysis, WE THE PEOPLE are one tribe and one heart.

I have been promising you an episode on the UFO phenomenon. I did an interview recently but it just wasn’t good enough. Not interesting enough. So I am reaching out to a few more people. I am committed to making a good episode or two on this topic.

I am really excited about the upcoming guests. I think it will provide us a nice balance between menswork, mythic viewpoints, the evolution of humanity, and some edgy red-pill episodes for your consideration.

I appreciate you riding shotgun with me. And thank you for all the email and text messages supporting the show. I really appreciate it.

Brandon Clift Bio

Brandon Clift is on a mission to break the archaic and outdated molds of manhood that have led to many of the challenges we face in the world today. He is the host of The Mankind Podcast where he interviews leading researchers, experts, and influencers of change to find out how you can become a champion for healthy manhood.

Here is my interview with Brandon Clift.

E88 Final Thoughts-

I hope you enjoyed our conversation with Brandon. For a different sort of men’s podcast, one that is more focused on racial issues and social justice, go check out The Mankind Podcast at all the places you listen to podcasts. I like the sound of EP #7 with Tony Porter, so that might be a great place to start.

Also, I have been meaning to recommend Jeremy Elliot of the Iconic Podcast. It has been in my notes for a month now. Jeremy speaks truth to power and does it in a gracious and skillful way.

Like most other podcasters, I don‘t have time to listen to many other podcasters as I am really busy making mine once a week. But I have recognized in Jeremy a kindred spirit. A man who is committed to truth and the elevation of our human tribe.

He is not available on the usual podcast platforms. The best way to listen to Jeremy is to go to The Iconic Podcast on Facebook. You can also find him on You Tube (although they are deeply censoring counter-narrative voices like his) or BitChute.

E75: The Masculine/Feminine Dynamic with Special Guest

Lisa Rezac

E75 Introduction-

Well my dear listeners, this show has continued to evolve as you and I evolve. What started out as a show about men’s personal development and the evolution of consciousness has moved more fully into an investigation into the Great Awakening and how to better prepare for the upcoming chapters of our collective Hero’s Journey.

We will continue to offer episodes that address the issues that men currently face in their personal lives AS WELL as offer interesting alternative viewpoints on what is happening in our country that may help you find alignment with your own truth. We’ll continue to seek balance on these issues.

The compass will continue to be truth, even when it is uncomfortable. We have trained ourselves through men’s work and these conversations to align ourselves with the human spirit. With what we ALL have in common. This will continue to guide us.

In terms of issues on the national stage, I will continue to reference and speak as part of WE THE PEOPLE as this is in alignment with my own mission. Right now, there is a group that is relieved that Joe Biden is President. And that is fine. They feel that they can breathe now. There is another group that is sure that the military is fully in control and does not recognize Biden as a legitimate Commander in Chief. And there is a third group that isn’t sure what to think.

What is unfolding goes WAY beyond Democrat v Republican. Can you sense this? Your political orientation is about to become completely irrelevant. And this may well be a Godsend for our nation.

My guest today is my wife Lisa who is coming off a 3-day meditation retreat with our teacher Patrick Conner. I was on retreat as well. I thought it would be a good chance to check in on the value of your spiritual practice, being in partnership with your spouse or life partner, and taking a look at the masculine/feminine dynamic and what we might learn from it.

Lisa Rezac Bio-

My guest today is an exceptional woman known for her beauty, intuition, humor, and courage. Lisa Rezac has been an classically trained actor, corporate trainer, entrepreneur, mother, and a fundraising auctioneer. She is a creative thinker and a person who models living your deepest truths. She has also been my life-partner for the past 26 years.

E75 Final Thoughts-

I hope you enjoyed our conversation with the always interesting Lisa Rezac.

Lastly, people are talking a lot about the Act of 1871, where a CORPORATION of the U.S. was created and how Trump and the military, in essence, are in the process of restoring the original Republic and give the power back to WE THE PEOPLE.

This Act of 1871 might be an interesting red pill for some of you attorneys out there. You can compare and contrast our Original Constitution for WE THE PEOPLE with the alterations made in 1871 and the creation of the CORPORATION of the U.S. I will be doing some research into this to see what the hubbub is all about. Let’s see what we all find out, shall we?

E64: Va¢¢ine Q & A with Special Guest Dr. Jennifer Margulis

E64 Dedication-

Today’s episode is dedicated to all the parents of young children out there. As well as soon-to-be parents. May your family be blessed with good health, vitality, and well-being!

E64 Introduction-

The topic of va¢¢ines and health seems an especially timely one. As we rush to find a va¢¢ine for Covid-19 and many people eagerly line up to get it, I thought it would be a good opportunity to do some research of my own and talk to some people who have done a deep dive into this.

Today’s episode is Basecamp‘s longest episode. By far. I thought of cutting it down or making it into two parts to keep with our roughly 30- minute format. However, when I was editing the episode, it just seemed too valuable and my hunch was to let it play as a long format episode.

I am not sure how often Chris Rodd (my sound editor) and I will do this. I really do like the easier digestable 30 minute EP. But every time I listened and tried to cut or create an end to part one, the next part of the conversation seemed to want to be part of the episode as well.

It is a wonderful thing for me to create and edit these for you. Intuition plays a big part. What will assist the listeners the most? What resources will they take away from this? How will this help them on their Hero’s Journey? These are the questions that Chris and I both keep as our guide in making these.

Many people do not have the bandwidth to research things like vaccine safety. Thankfully for all of us, there are people like my guest today who do. I have noticed that asking questions that challenge the status quo tends to ruffle feathers. This is a natural process, asking questions that lead to discoveries that  may challenge assumptions. Is the status quo really all that sacrosanct, especially in the area of health?

What if, instead of reflexively and defensively defending the status quo, we learned how to lean into the discussion as if there might be an important viewpoint or insight that may just be a key component to understanding our health, our children’s health and our future.

Jennifer Margulis Bio-

Jennifer Margulis, Ph.D., is an award-winning science journalist who has been researching and writing about health-related topics for over 15 years. She is the author or co-author of eight non-fiction books, including Your Baby, Your Walkjuy (Scribner) and The Va¢¢ine-Friendly Plan with Dr. Paul Thomas (Ballantine). She is currently working on a book about her mother, a renown microbiologist whose theories have changed our basic understanding of the mechanisms of evolution.

Her books have been translated into Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, German, and Estonian.

E64 Final Thoughts-

I hope you enjoyed our conversation with Dr. Margulis. If you want to do a deep dive into the vaccine safety conversation, Ty Bolinger’s The Truth about Va¢¢ines is where I got my initial information. It’s an excellent documentary.  You can start there or with either of the books Jennifer mentioned: Dr. Bob Sears The Va¢¢ine Book and her book with Dr. Paul Thomas titled The Va¢¢ine Friendly Plan.

I loved her technique of checking the CDC (the section for doctors) and then cross referencing with the nvic.org National Va¢¢ine Information Center’s website. Seems like smart research, doesn’t it? E63: The Power of Slow with Special Guest Carl Honore

E63 Introduction-

How many people out there have felt their inner power grow as they age? I know I have. I feel like a better version of my self even though I am well into my 50’s. I may not look as good. But I don’t really give a shit anymore and that is freedom.

As you age, you get better at letting go; of not taking things too personally. You’re more apt to forgive others as you have come to know your own shortcomings with more clarity and a sense of shared humanity.

And older people, if they have done some inner work, will have right-sized the ego. There is less of a heaviness about them that the ego brings. Years of living will tend to have shown you that it’s not all about you. It never really was.

Additionally, our elders hold the wisdom for the tribe. This has always been so. As we enter into our next phase, and as the Great Awakening moves through humanity, it will be the wisdom keepers that will be desperately needed.  And I am proud to call myself one.  In our collective narrative and in any Hero’s Journey, the mentor to the central character is always an elder. This is not by accident.

My guest today speaks of the gifts of slowing down and the power of embracing aging as an adventure or a Hero’s Journey to use my own language.  I love people who show us a different, more elevated perspective and my guest today is just that. Enjoy the interview!
