E235: Turtles All the Way Down with Special Guest Zoey O’Toole

E235 Introduction

As a podcaster, I do my best to shed light on what is in the shadows. I don’t think of myself as a citizen journalist per se. Not quite anyway.

However, I do believe one of my strengths is asking the difficult questions, offering up a different perspective, hopefully shedding the Light of Truth on the issues that have been presented to us deceitfully. I have done my best to pick the issues that are most concerning to me as a parent, an American, and just an ordinary human in the midst of a strange war on this beautiful planet. My goal is always to help humanity in any way I can.

Every once in a while a book arrives on the scene that shakes the ground we walk on. Turtles All the Way Down: Vaccine Science and Myth is exactly this kind of book. Written anonymously with unassailable science and data taken from the very sources that mainstream medicine uses: the CDC, FDA, WHO, and peer-reviewed medical journals, Turtles is a tour de force that will arm parents (and physicians, if they are courageous enough) with the truth about this vitally important issues that impact our children and future generations on this planet.

Hopefully, this episode and this book Turtles All the Way Down, will be listened to and read in the coming years and decades ahead and will help parents make more honest, courageous and healthy choices for their children. If a few Basecampers and maybe a few doctors buy the book and get the resources mentioned, I feel I have done my part.

We are fortunate to sit around the fire with one of the editors of this book. Enjoy the episode!

E226: The Wisdom of the Star People with Special Guest

Dr. Richard Boylan

E226 Introduction

As many of you know, I have had a deep interest and reverence for not only Native American heritage and spirituality but also what they refer to as the “Star People”. These are the extraterrestrial visitors that populate the myths of indigenous tribes the world over.

Most people that know me do not know that I am one-eighth Chippewa Indian. My fathers mother was half Chippewa. I have also long been interested in the ET phenomenon, having a particular affinity for the Pleiadian myths. The Pleiadians (according to this lore) are a race of ET’s (among many) that have been assisting humanity since the beginning of our story. In my grandmothers peoples lore, the Chippewa were seeded by the Pleiadians and were instructed as such by the Pleiadians themselves.

The Native Americans and other indigenous tribes are brilliant at embedding truth in myth. This technique preserves information that would otherwise be lost or removed by authorities that do not want to see this knowledge shape our minds and our future. These powerful myths are what sustain humanity, whether that is biblical myths, Hero’s Journey mythology, or the myth of the Star People. It is our heartbeat and our light in the dark forest.

My guest today is an elder in this community. A man who was trusted by the Native tribes to help spread the word about the Star People. Let’s go sit around the fire and listen to some words of wisdom. Enjoy!

Dr. Richard Boylan Bio

Richard J. Boylan, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist; cultural anthropologist; retired university professor; and a world-renown researcher and expert on UFOs and extraterrestrial Visitors.. His career over five decades has centered in public service: first as a clergyman, then as a social worker and educator, and then with three graduate degrees, doing decades of service as a clinical psychologist and an anthropologist studying visiting space civilizations. Here is my interview with Dr. Richard Boylan.

E226 Final Thoughts-

I hope you enjoyed our time with Dr. Boylan as much as I did. I love sitting around the fire with a wise elder, asking questions. It‘s how we preserve our human wisdom and dignity amongst all the transhumanist AI technology that they are pushing at us.

In my eyes, it will always be storytelling, myth, and shared meaning that lift the human race to our next epoch. Thank you Basecampers and we’ll see you around the fire next week.

E225: B is for Bitcoin with Special Guest Daz Bea

E225 Introduction

Before we get to our interview, I thought I would share a few memes with you as they have been piling up and I like to share these with you. Today’s theme is Bitcoin and freedom (two topics I am obviously crazy for).

The first one is from author and thought leader Jeff Booth, who says:

All of the noise is just a natural part of a slow and messy transition from a world of deception, fear and scarcity- to a world of truth, hope, and abundance, with every person understanding the transition at their own pace. #bitcoin The chaos only tells you how early you are!”

And a great one with a Terminator theme. It had young John Conner asking Arnold Swarzennegar “Did you come back to save the human race from machines? In which the Terminator responds “No, I’m here to buy Bitcoin on the cheap”. Love it!

And former US Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard who simply states:

Bitcoin opens the door to freedom, opportunity, and individual empowerment.”

And one from one of my all-time heroes. The great George Carlin who says

Sooner of later the people in this country are going to realize that the government doesn’t give a shit about them. Government doesn’t care about you or your children, or your rights, or your welfare, or your safety. It simply doesn’t give a shit about you. Its only interested in its own power, keeping it and expanding it wherever possible.”

Aho, and lastly from Humble Bitcoiner who says

“If you know someone that didn’t take the jab and now they’re telling you about Bitcoin, you should probably listen.”

My guest today is Aussie who got up at the crack of dawn to meet with us. Let’s go sit around the fire with him and speak the truth. Enjoy.

Daz Bea Bio

My guest today Daz Bea. Daz is an author, a musician, an electrician with qualifications in electrical engineering, a husband and father of two, and (of course) a Bitcoiner. Here is my interview with Daz Bea.

E225 Final Thoughts

I hope you enjoyed our time with Daz Bea as much as I did. To up your understanding of Bitcoin and start to turn a corner on it, get Daz‘s great book B is for Bitcoin, available on Amazon. Like I said, it fills a sweet spot for new Bitcoiners taking you from noob into a more intermediate understanding of many of the important aspects of the protocol and why each is important. And a great resource for you to better understand Bitcoin is www.lookingglasseducation.com. They have courses and deep dives to help the new and experienced Bitcoiner better understand this game-changing technology.

E222: Passing the Torch with Special Guest Connor Macfarland

E222 Introduction

Many of you know that had a great time attending Charlie Kirk‘s America Fest in Phoenix this past December. It was so inspiring that I plan on going again this year.

One of the things that jumped out at me was how many young Conservatives and Libertarians were in the audience. Charlie puts them right up front as these young men and women are our future. To me, it’s really amazing to see them and talk to them as their values and principles run counter to what I see our public schools teaching here in Seattle (or any blue state for that matter). Seattle area schools are a mess with their obsession with all things woke-transgender ideology as young as you can slip it into the classrooms, endless pronouns meant to confuse further divide. No real American civics- no mention of the Constitution or Bill of Rights.

How many young people coming out of public school can even describe the Revolutionary War, the creation of our nation with the Declaration of Independence. Or why the Civil War was fought. I am not convinced high school seniors down the street can accurately describe any of this. And it’s really not their fault. They weren‘t taught it, were they?

How can a generation feel dignity and pride in their great nation when everything taught in government schools slanders and demeans its young citizens about who we are as nation and as a people?

We have come a long ways in just few short decades. When I went to high school 40 years ago, the whole nation was patriotic. Do you remember that? Yep, Democrat and Republicans alike. Hard to image that today. Ronald Reagan was President and carried every state but two. American was experiencing a renewal back in the 80’s and damn near everyone you spoke with was proud to be an American and all knew what an exceptional nation we lived in. When you spoke with new immigrants to our nation, they were excited and grateful to be given a chance to live in the “land of opportunity”. So many of them embodied the American Dream. Future generations did better than their predecessors.

What will happen if we don‘t turn around education? At this point, it may be best just to dismantle public education and their Unions and start from the ground up. They have been captured by Marxists/Communists pushing a radical Woke curriculum on the unsuspecting students. When you understand it, it’s pretty gross. Education in my view is too far gone to save. At this point, the students are better off not attending these government indoctrination camps. They will be smarter than all the woke kids who insist that there is no such thing as a man, no such thing as a woman. Most parents instinctively know this. Public schools no longer teach anything useful to the students. It’s basically a shitty babysitter where you get to see your friends a bit. If parents really knew, most would get them out of there asap. Seriously. It’s that bad Basecampers.

I may have shared this with you already. I don’t remember. To illustrate this, I had coffee with a friend not too long ago and he described what his son was doing in public high school. He had one book report his junior year and get this, it could be on a graphic novel! Are you kidding me? One book report for the whole year and it can be on a comic book! Oye vay.

You know what is a good way to dumb down kids? Don’t have them read or write and don’t teach them anything useful. Add to that no actual American civics and you have a whole generation who can’t navigate, critically think, or add anything of value to society.

Thankfully, parents are waking up and pushing back. There is a sense of urgency with this as we have future generations who are counting on us to turn the ship around.

I don’t get a chance to speak with many college students, so this was a special treat for me. Let’s go connect with our guest today, a young man stepping into his leadership at Liberty University. Enjoy the interview.

Connor Macfarland Bio

Connor Macfarland is the National Development Director for College Republicans of America and is studing Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship at Liberty University. He’s focused on expanding the organization and connecting with conservatives across the country.

E222 Final Thoughts

E220: Growing Our Courage with Special Guest

Cliff Buenavista

E220 Introduction

Today was a fun interview for me. Why? Because it is with an very old friend of mine. Someone who I used to sit at the pub with and talk philosophy, existentialism, God and Spirit, along with more mundane topics like who was better the Seahawks or the 49ers.

You know how fond I am of the Hero’s Journey (both individually and collectively). Not all my old drinking buddies have taken a particularly courageous path. No judgment. Just like we mention in this interview, many will be called, most will stay back in the Shire, to use a Lord of the Rings reference. Without a clear picture of the battle or even what is at stake. But the more heroic will answer the call and do whatever they can to assist humanity. These are the times we live in.

One of the questions to ask is this: Who do we need to be as men in these times? What is our most courageous path? What do I need to do in my next chapter? What does humanity and God need from me next?

My guest today is an old friend who has answered the call. What a blessing it is to know these Warriors and I am fortunate to talk to more and more of them on this show. I like to give the vibe in these discussions as two friends sitting around the fire talking about what is REALLY going on. And it is easy when you have known each other as long as I have know my guest today. Enjoy!

Cliff Buenavista Bio

My guest today is my good friend Cliff Buenavista. Cliff is a Christian, a husband and father of 2 children and is a project manager at Nvidia. Cliff has maintained his sobriety for nearly 4 years, a true Hero’s Journey. Here is my interview with Cliff Buenavista.
